Batchelder The Great

In days of old and the landed class,

an Earl named Shawn came to town.

Fair-minded and a great reader, alas

of undisputed renown

In search of new books, he walked the street

and strode the waterfront din.

Where merchants, oars, and patrons melee’d

a writer passed with a golden pen.

Allured, in splendor, he followed in stride

to Vocals Publishing House.

Inside, he inquired, what does he write?

"Poems and prose, contests espoused."

The app is yours to freely acquire

and read his work, comment, and tip.

"What’s your name sir? Why do you inquire?"
