BARE TRAP

Breakup nonet challenge

By Andrew C McDonaldPublished about a year ago 1 min read

With chains of soft velvet you snared me

Willingly, in your trap I stepped

My mind; body and soul - caged

In silken, smooth, bare trap

Until you sprung it

Sharp poisoned barbs

Pierced my hide ...

Bloody ...

Wrecked ...

Note: I purposely used 'bare' instead of 'bear' here to show that it was not hidden. Also, an illusion to skin.

Very much like how you blended the two states: sensuality and deathly ensnarement throughout!!
