A-A-Apples and Ban-Nay-Nay’s
Was the song always sang,
A perfect snack that always went out with a bang.
But, nothing could compare to my favorite snack
One that I never saw in anyone's sack.
The snack that made my little heart flutter
Even more than my dads favorite peanut butter.
A snack I could call my own
The snack I ate everyday when I got home.
Two slices of bread, white would do
A dollop and mayonnaise too.
Now for the best part
Both creamy and tart
A yellow Banana,
one sometimes two.
A banana sandwich, only liked by few.
The bread, so soft and sweet
The mayonnaise to balance out the treat,
The banana to add the perfect blend,
Salty, creamy and sweet,
the taste that stays stuck in my head.
Cringe, most of you will
For the sound of my sandwich makes some people ill,
But that's my favorite treat
And don't worry I can make two,
One for me and one for you.
I promise you'll like it,
if you only just try
If you don’t take one bite, I might just cry.
My father would make it, My mother too
She said it was for me, you and you!
Banana sandwiches for all to share
But no one would grab only just stare,
But I'm proud of the sandwich most people fear
It's just a little sandwich
I will drop this Mic here.

Makes me want to make a banana sandwich Great writing
Hahah - my friend when young did mayonnaise on white bread. Only that. And I loved jelly and potato chip sandwiches, the chips smashed well into the grape jelly!
