What's in a classroom?
Desks, chairs, and the American flag.
Blackboards and bulletin boards,
clean and decorated for the new year.
New books, notebooks and tablets, pencils and pens
along with crayons and highlighters all made for a
new generation.
Learning new ideas along with a few new subjects
along with a few new meanings to a few common
words like literature and trade books.
Catching up with old friends and making new
friends and sharing summer memories, maybe.
Handing out new books to learn all
the necessary skills to live life, again maybe.
Ready to learn.
Get ready, get set,
GO!
