I don't see it anymore,

I don't feel it anymore,

No, I don't mean to say

I don't feel love for you

anymore.

I mean to say that I know

that when you look at me,

I know there are no butterflies

inside you.

Should we go back to being strangers?

Think about it, you never stopped

staring.

Your eyes always shined when you

looked at me.

If we become strangers, maybe you will crave

me.

Maybe you will put more effort into us.

Now, you barely look at me, you don't

ask about my day.

You only have expectations, but if I

have expectations you'll say I'm too much.

Let's be strangers again. I want you to cry over me,

I want you to call me constantly.

    Ahh, ouch 💔

  • Sadly, people only realise the value of someone after they lose them. Loved your poem!
