Baby boy

Being different

By Gwendolyn Farris - baldwinPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
My reason (family)

Baby boy ,baby boy , can’t you see you're really not that different from me.

Your eyes are brown just like mine , your spirit shines so bright in the sky.

Everyone stares because they can’t see that you really are not that different from me .

Your heart is so big just like mine sends chills down the spine , your laughter is a joy everyone can see that clearly your not that different from me.

You can’t speak and that’s ok ,my voice they will hear , my voice will carry them away.

Baby boy, baby boy, don’t be sad this world doesn’t know the joy that you really have.

Your love shines through from me to you , with your smile no one knew, that what your going through would make you blue.

The world is cruel this I know but for you that doesn’t stop your glow.

So baby boy, baby boy, can’t you see you're really not that different from me.
