Baby Bear

A Poem

By D351Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Baby Bear

Brighter days are coming

Baby Bear

Even as the tears are running

I can't take your pain

But I have felt the same

So just let me hold you until brighter days

Baby Bear has a thorn in her paw

Reminds me of one

that healed in me wrong

It's not fair and it goes on too long

You mourn the past

Pull every last

Ounce of hurt from that song

And I'll sing along

Baby Bear

There's not much else to do

We just have to cry through

And hope you heal better than I ever could

And that soon

Baby Bear

Brighter days are coming

Baby Bear

When you'll hit the ground running

I can't take your pain

But I have felt the same

So just let me hold you until brighter days
