I am blue

I am red

I am hue [Huey]

I am bled [Fred]

who -- what am i

revolutionary cries from the skies

love or hate at first sight

only if one sees in black & white

in reality we see color

have a dream to envision all fuller

yet I wonder if I were blind

what would be in my mind

could I love what I could not see

or give into the darkness inside of me

darkness not in the physical

lack of light in our spiritual

change our view

see what really matters -- what is true

orange -- yellow not falling -- not cowering

yet rising -- life giving -- empowering

red -- blue reflecting we are living united

no patriotic views to dehumanize the plighted

green no longer means envy nor greed

may we see what Mother Earth creates from every seed

purple -- pink portraying our passion

royalty & respect -- sharing resources & rations

black & white -- what is day without the night

independent yes -- yet the yin yang balance of life

to exclude even one color is a death note mistake

all giving energy -- creating meaning to rise -- to awake

open your eye prism
