A Poem
By Kale SinclairPublished about 12 hours ago • Updated about 12 hours ago • 1 min read

We are all the same beneath the shadow of a bird’s wing.
Grounded to various acidic levels of Earthen soil,
we are all characters in the songs their words sing.
Encumbered by gravity’s vaporous ballast,
the creatures in the sky create an amorous balance.
Our desire to ascend into the bend beyond flesh,
is the romantic end we spend our lives attempting to undress.
Exposure to awareness will never leave a free bird naked.
Neglecting the clover, however, will strip away
everything a seabird holds sacred.

We are nature in human form. Good job. Really like the image for there are a of stories that could be told using it as a prompt. (The skull in the foreground brings a murder mystery to mind.)
