Wake up your eyelids, for my night is my neighbor
And enjoy the blackness of the sky with the disappearance of daylight
And arm yourself with courage and be a lion seeking victory
And do not be afraid of me, for my people have illuminated
my path and lit a fire in the track
My condition was bad when the volcano erupted
Oh my love for a rebel who distorted the sight
And exceeded his limits, so his land shone with the light of the moon
Wake him up, my rebellious people
To be the first in his determination and defeat colonialism
To be free in the orbit of war
Forces that have been fighting for years
Do not surrender my heart, my rebellious people
So that the hurricane does not erupt and become angry
For the love of the homeland, the heart was divided
And my emotions... Why did you become jealous of the neighbor?
When the calamity intensified, we found no excuse
You covered us, so we knew our worth, our neighbor?
About the Creator
Kisama Riyo
I have always been interested in poetry and essay, especially rhyme style, so I decided to post my essay here and see if I have any talent in poetry or not.
