Awaken – The Anthem of Life

Earth's Final Cry

By Ali Sadeek AhmedPublished 7 months ago 1 min read

🎤 Awaken – The Anthem of Life

Do you remember me?

I am the crown of all creation.

Once I ruled the ancient Earth,

Nature bowed before my breath.

The skies were pure,

The oceans clear,

The winds sang softly in my ear.

The rivers danced to please my soul,

And flowers bloomed to make me whole.

She dressed in green and golden light,

Perfumed the air, so pure, so bright.

The world was beauty, raw and real—

And I, the prince, with power to heal.

But now the Earth begins to cry,

Smoke fills the once-blue sky,

The ozone's gone, the forests die,

And melting snow waves us goodbye.

The beasts are lost, the trees grow still,

The flowers hide upon the hill.

And Nature moans in aching pain—

This beast called Man is not humane.

You murdered life with blinded pride,

You killed the joy, the light, the guide.

And now, you stretch your ruthless hand

To crush the last of nature’s land?

I am the coming storm, the rage,

The fire that bursts from nature’s cage.

The sun will scorch, the seas will rise,

The air itself will seal your cries!

Awaken now, O sleeping minds,

Before the end of all mankind.

The time has come—return, repair—

Or I will drag you to despair.

Return to what we used to be,

Or face the wrath that waits in me.

For life is sacred, wild, and true...

And I—the Earth—am done with you.
