Autumn

Autumn

By M. JohnsonPublished 4 years ago 1 min read

The earth glows with hues of amber, crimson and gold.

Crisp cool chill in the air. It’s definitely not hot but still not cold.

I think I’ll start a pot of chilli or a hearty stew. Trade in my sandals for cozy warm shoes.

Autumn brings a calm with it. Saying goodbye to summer and all the excitement.

I welcome the change. Change of clothes, change of weather. I welcome those cozy hugs and watching spooky movies together.

The scent of pumpkin and cider fills the house as the candles flicker. Moments like these actually are “the bigger picture”.

Swallowed up by life always in a rush. We need to slow down and autumn reminds us.

To take a stroll kick up the leaves. And finally pull out those adorable long sleeves.

Super cute scarves and warm coats. All the flannels and yas queen those fire boots!

So cover everything in cinnamon and pumpkin spice please. I’ll take it in a latte, a donut, or let’s be honest anything.
