Autumn Mornings

a poem

Mornings in the autumn-

cool and brisk,

breezy at times,

the sun is rising on the horizon-

gentle pink and purple and blue-

So quiet:

you hear the first tweets and songs

of the birds;

the first dog barks of the morning;

the fog lifting into the morning sky, and

You give praise to all who created this morning time.

Autumn mornings with the colored leaves of red, yellow and orange,

as the sun rises and shines through the branches and leaves, as the morning dew drips to the ground.

Cool and crisp and awe-inspiring as the

world wakes up! Hello, Autumn.
