Autumn leaves

Poem.

By Danny Prem kumarPublished about a year ago 1 min read

**Autumn Leaves**

In whispers soft, the autumn breeze,

Tumbles through the golden trees.

Each leaf, a dancer in the sky,

Gliding gently, saying goodbye.

Crimson, amber, hues of flame,

No two leaves are quite the same.

They drift and twirl with quiet grace,

Painting earth with autumn’s lace.

Upon the ground, a quilt is laid,

Of fleeting beauty soon to fade.

Yet in their fall, they seem to sing,

Of harvest moons and whispering wings.

Beneath the fading autumn light,

The world prepares for winter’s night.

But in the leaves, a memory stays—

A fleeting glow of warmer days.
