A poem about anxiety.

How do you suppress anxiety?

It pulsates throughout you, backflips in your stomach.

It shakes you from your sleep and tosses you back into reality; in a reality where suddenly you are desolate and confused.

It Stops you mid-sentence just to say...

"Your crazy, cause honestly there is nothing really wrong with you".

It's only psychological, yet this feeling is physical, hindering.

Takes the focus away from a task, to suck you into a whirlwind of intangible emotions.

Your breath comes in slowly, not knowing if it could be your last.

The worst part is not knowing why; eyes covered to the knowledge of why.

A silent shiver through your core that internally devours you, anxiety.
