At Night
It's prank night if it feels right!
i love coming here at night
when there is no one else around
i make imaginary blow fish on the windows
that hardly ever leaves a sound (plop)
in my mind i throw toilet paper
across the desks and and the backs of chairs
glad wrap over a couple of toilet seats
that will get them unawares
helium balloons full of glitter
to be popped randomly willy nilly
reveling in the immaturity of it all
just relishing the simple of silly
adjusting the volumes on unlocked PC’s
googly eyes will be stuck on family snaps
a captive audience for the work of my idle hands
and just maybe then perhaps…
