Jesus, you are the Truth and you reign supreme in Heaven’s court.
You lay down the law of lasting love.
You said yourself that you’re “The Way, The Truth and The Life.”
Either you’re a liar, a lunatic or you're Lord.
It’s plain and simple.
I see you as Lord and my mind will never change on this matter.
Being a follower is hard.
You get left in the dust a lot.
But the dust isn’t so bad, when you consider that Adam was made from dust.
Jesus, you’re making my dust and ashes into something beautiful, day by day.
Your patience is endowed to me, so I’ll praise you in every situation.
All I have is yours.

The phrase “being a follower is hard” resonated with me. When I was confirmed in my church, the pastor gave me a very light tap/ slap on the face. Ir shocked me. But it has an important meaning. It’s a physical reminder that as Christians we may endure rejection, mockery, or even persecution. I loved how you see God creating something beautiful from the ash and dust - maybe even after we’ve been slapped

Beautiful prayer. 😇 He's Lord and Creator in the flesh. The great I AM... “He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:15-18 NKJV
