....If this world were mine

Love would be law

and all would be well

we'd embrace each other

including our flaws

no more corruption

....systematic destruction

only the construction

of loves production.

If this world were mine ...

love would flow easily,

roll of the tongue

smoke like cigars; speakeasy

natives all from one

different colors would only classify art

and art would pacify time

If this world were was mine

I'd admit I would be quite selfish

for once in my life only honest living

no more embellishments

no more disingenuous audiences

we'd live as if in the ninetys

maybe it's time to get back in the nineties.

About the Creator

Errol McNeill

I may be just a foolish dreamer

But I don't care

'Cause I know my happiness is waiting out there somewhere

I'm searching for that silver lining

Horizons that I've never seen

I'd like to take just a moment and dream my dream
