Writer Franz Kafka once said,
"I don't feel particularly proud of myself.
But when I walk alone in the woods,
or lie in the meadows, all is well."
I relate to his words deeply.
Well, I feel good,
even when I’m not in nature,
as I do art, garden, childcare,
but when I am out there,
a happiness floods my being.
I feel alive, heart sings,
I belong there, fit in well.
My problems seem tiny,
I’m not bothered by agony,
I love this stress-free feeling.
Lying down on the wild oat meadow,
holding a mustard flower bouquet,
fanned by the spring breeze,
surrounded by lush greenery,
hills, and canyons scenery,
gives me tranquility Zen,
feels as if I am in heaven.
