A melange of colors and shapes
A magnificent mosaic we all unite to create
The rainbow of soul, the art of humanity
Filling the shelves and walls
Of our home, called Earth
Some finished sculptures line the walks
Though most of us are still progressing works
Reflecting the light of a melting sun
Merging our lines
Until our sharpness has gone
Welcome my friends
To the museum called life
We all get a chance to exhibit
In our own due time
Bring your best work
For your truth shall lie bare
In the grand pattern
Every tile is set with care
If even one falls from their place
The gaping hole left in the colors of existence
Easily identified
Mourned for our inherent deficit

I have been MIA for most of the last week. There is a good reason for that. My precious dog, Wisteria, had developed a severe allergy. Since Thursday, we have been battling body-wide hives and a face that was dangerously swelling. Thankfully, it has been under control since yesterday, so I am finally back to more normal tasks.
I am just thankful I'm a Benadryl fiend with plenty on hand, and that Chewy makes it easy to comparison shop for food. It only took me a few minutes to find a food with none of the same ingredients, though there are a few other potential culprits; I can't take any chances. We have eliminated all of the options.
