Arthritis you wicked bitch

You are a curse

Arthritis you wicked bitch

Pain that makes each movement worse.

FeetA twist, a twinge, a heavy sigh,

You linger close, and I ask why.

You turn good days to endless ache,

Every step feels like a mistake.

A thief of comfort, a master of dread,

You haunt the waking, invade my bed.

Each crack and twinge, you draw me near,

A constant whisper, “You’ll feel me here.”

You steal the light, you dim the cheer,

Oh, arthritis, your presence is clear.

A battle fought each single day,

You take my strength in every way.

A simple task now feels like war,

With each passing moment, I feel you more.

Feet and knees pain hursts so bad

stop the bus I can’t take any more.

Very well written and the frustrating word play is so realistic that it almost feels like it’s fighting to get out! You smashed this one, as you always do
