Art of Everywhere

Stare with Care and Thought for Not, Oh, Wonder Pattern is What We’ve Got!

By Rowan Finley Published 8 months ago Updated 8 months ago 1 min read

Pattern of fortune

sweats and tells me that

Summer spins the wheel of scorching

~

Canvases of all shapes and prizes sail into the air of everywhere

Art museum brushes flick paint on all the walls

of confinement and they just finally tumble down flat

~

The mini Pollocks explode in my head

The medium Rockwell’s sketch under my bed

The large Rembrandt’s fly by on vines of various vigor

~

New ideas take the subway train with a fast fury and unfailing pace

Face is lifted in anticipation, as the train finally stops at the station 🚉

Elation doesn’t lull…

…even a single lick

As the path to more patterns, colors, hues, textures, twists, and swirls finds me waltzing on by…

surreal poetry

Yup, summers here- watermelon everything 😁 Can you imagine if Pollock, Rembrandt and Rockwell collaborated on one painting? What do we think it would look like? 🤔 Would their sizes be reversed, or each equal...

This made my inner voice dance...and I wish I liked watermelon!
