At some point in my life, I have been in a rather complex love and it was somehow more of a one-sided story. Nevertheless, the feeling of emotional starvation remained in me even though I appreciated her very much.

As for the last couple of weeks, we couldn’t think of anything to say to each other, so I decided to reveal my longing. Much to my astonishment my partner admitted he also had emotional issues which were preventing him from teaching me how to be loving.

That realization was a breakthrough to implement their point of view. Altogether, we remained optimistic, established work and personal life divisions as well as concentrated on our emotional state. By and large, we tried to salvage our relationship, but all those efforts turned out to be futile. It was a very painful decision to reach we had to go our separate ways for the good of all.

I suppose that being in love with you was not in our future; however, the experience made me learn some lessons in life that will help me find the right partner.
