Everybody knows the old wife’s tale
That biting into a tender apple a day
Keeps the angelic doctor away
It indeed counts towards the 5-a-day
With so many apples in the world
There’s enough apples to keep me
Counting till my dying day
Just as many apples as there are stars
More stars in the sky than words can say
So much to do with all these apples
I can craft sweet cider comforts
Feed a house with homemade pies
and quench thirst with fresh juice
Apple takes many forms
But how does an apple a day
Keep the doctor away
When there aren’t enough of them
