The crazy old hermit
Is how I sometimes feel
Anxiety and Amazon Prime
can keep me locked away
for days with no end in sight
Sometimes
When I go out
There's drive-thru
It helps keep people at a distance
Sometimes
Still
I love sitting in restaurants
or
Busy supermarkets
People are so wrapped up in self
It's easy to feel like an illusion
or apparition
In even the most crowded room

I really like this poem of contrasts. Favourite section: “People are so wrapped up in self It's easy to feel like an illusion or apparition In even the most crowded room”🤩
I fear human interaction so much! It's like the most terrifying thing ever! Loved your poem! 🍩🥐
There's no place I feel more alone than in a crowded room.
So relatable! Excellent work
Ugh yes so true! There are days where I barely interact with anyone. So easy to do; almost harder to overcome it because other people expect no interaction. Ghosts talking to ghosts.
