Feels Like

Anticipation

a mist out of reach

a touch still unfelt

a delay in speech

scents that have not been smelled

a desire unspoken

the longing to be touched

a seal unbroken

the waiting, too much

a breeze cross' the water

a tear in your eye

when nothing else matters

still unable to cry

the flood gates awaiting

the moment of release

it goes without saying

well worth the suspense

This one flows quickly, and you have plenty of examples of that moment right before it happens. I like "a delay in speech" the best:)
