Does a human like prison bars? No is the answer!
Animals Should Not Be Caged
Animals were not made to be trapped,
their souls were born to run, to breathe, to live.
Yet we build cages and call it care,
we take freedom and name it safety.
Ask yourself, are humans happy in prison?
No one smiles behind locked bars,
no one dances when the air is stolen,
so why would innocent animals be?
Look into their eyes,
you will see questions we cannot answer.
We are not their masters, only guests,
and guests should never chain their hosts.
Let them live as they were meant to,
under open skies, in their own rhythm.
Freedom is not a gift we give,
it is a right we all share.
So when you see a cage,
don’t just see bars — see stolen dreams.
See the wild heart still beating,
waiting for a world that listens.
Because freedom isn’t ours to keep,
it belongs to every living soul.
Until they are free,
none of us truly are.
why? We should not have the rights

Well done, Marie. A contentious issue that does not get enough airplay. Who gave us the right to take freedom away from animals? Loved the comparison to humans in jail.
Good work on this humanitarian message. I agree but isn't that what animal preserves were supposed to be used for so the cages were no more. There are still some that deserve the cage though wouldn't you agree.
