Animals and Ideas

Never a dull moment with ostriches who yodel in yaks’ ears.

Empty sunflower seed shells,

they make good ladybug coffins.

Giraffes make great bridges,

stretched over waterfalls for tight rope walking.

Have you ever seen a black and white photograph of a zebra?

A lion’s mane is like a radiant dandelion puff,

can you imagine manes flying off into the wind though?

The hug of a sloth goes on forever,

it was warm and comforting though,

unlike the anaconda from yesterday.

It’d be neat to hear a praying mantis,

the exact words that they pray that is.

The echos of a kitten’s meow,

the sound reverberates through canyons.

A kind kangaroo adopts the kitten,

plopping her right down into her pouch,

but then she thinks that she’d need to make,

some mittens for the kitten,

since her claws were a bit much in the pouch.

Wouldn’t it be great fun to see lots of flamingos learning to tango?
