Angels without wings

At first they clapped, now they’re up for the sack,

These politicians, are like a hunting pack,

Looking for ways, to cash in their cheques,

You’ll never hear from them, any type of regrets,

They claim the NHS, is under pressure,

Our angels without wings, our national treasures,

Yet here we stand, on the edge of change,

Where mandates are, now within range,

Do you honestly think, it will stop right here?

Do you understand, the cost will be dear?

For doctors and nurses, stood face to face,

Throughout the pandemic, they knew their place,

But now it seems, the politicians choose,

That all these experts, we now have to lose!

Follow the science, they shouted out loud!

Doctors and nurses, who followed so proud,

Yet the science and facts, now don’t add up,

And all of the people, have had just enough!

We must hold this line, and never retreat,

It’s the peoples choice, so stand on your feet,

Say no to this, coercion and crime,

These politicians, should get no more dimes!

Support our doctors, all the nurses and staff,

We are the people, and we’ll have the last laugh,

They’re being cast aside, & the knowledge will go,

Unless we all now together, stand up & say no!
