And

UrbExp meets HDR Mimicry

i so wanted to start this sentence,

i wanted to begin it with an and

it came over me sudden like

out of the blue, unprepared and unplanned

i wanted to work it ever so slowly

each word would be carefully placed

ensuring that absolutely nothing,

is laid to waste during the cut and paste

control ‘s’ and i’m safe for now

another nine lives are mine *purr*

but with a comma and a full stop

i inch out into this minefield in my mind

certain airs and graces are dispensed with

and i’m free to lash out

at my keepers and my peers

i’m pleased to have matched paces

with a thought who thought

he was a time encumbered

cellular explosion

and that night

a trillion poisoned knives

fell from the sky’s

that night a sky of a trillion diamonds

pounding the black tent

of our existence

pitched but not an actual part of the deal

a fruit platter lots of water

lots of harder stuff as well

just nod

yeah that's the one

we chaired the lounges

we lounged in the chairs

the longer we relaxed

the better the lounges became

we slouched the couches

we groused our many ouch's

we stacked and counted vouchers

we stuffed angry pit bulls in our trousers

and then

right at that

very moment

right when we didn’t care

we ran out of rhymes

we ran out of cheese

we were doing just fine

we were doing

as we pleased

and.
