And I was crying for a homeland
The bird departed and sadness visited it
When I disappeared from sight
The lightning struck me and tied my hands and imprisoned me
And I knew from my crying
Will the bird rest and renew sadness in my soul?
So sleep, bird, and sing in the evening
And say: The days have begun to repeat the memory of the homeland
Oh, how I wonder at a day when hope disappeared
And life became in my voice that lost its melody?
And I was crying for a homeland
Everything in it dies from the memory of sadness?
What a disaster when the moon wants
To leave my soul and increase the amount of heaviness in it?

Kisama Riyo
I have always been interested in poetry and essay, especially rhyme style, so I decided to post my essay here and see if I have any talent in poetry or not.
