I like the way the protagonist isn't anchored, it IS the anchor. That made me reflect.
Your frustration comes through nicely. The beauty of Haiku poetry is that it goes straight to the point.
We really do need to soar, even if only on the odd occasion. And when we read others, we want them to soar so we can soar with them. I really felt the anchor in this piece and it makes me sad with you, Kelli.
