Oh my colourful big water bottle!
How lovely and true you are.
Providing me with clear, clean, life giving water.
With your little lines, with different times.
Challenging me to drink enough each day.
I can carry you anywhere with me.
To work, to dance, and the store.
You’re always with me, more than anyone else.
I wonder if you ever notice more than the amount of water?
Do you see each sunset on the way to work?
Or each tear I have shed?
Do you see more than just the water and lines?
How would I ever truly know?
I suppose I will have to just keep honouring you and your water. Drinking all day, being a hydration queen!!
…. And I’ve forgotten you on the kitchen counter again….
