A stellar explosion in a spiral galaxy,

Birthed a storm in its milky arms,

‘Twas a powerful, silent eruption of colours we can’t perceive,

And then the stars all fell in galactic swarms;

They seemed to have a common destination,

As they rushed to a planet three strides away from the sun;

All existing life on this orb stood gazing,

And as countless suns from the far sky came in blazing,

From within its vast undulating waters to the tops of islands with varied upper crust,

All life paused to welcome the showers of scattered stardust;

The stars plunged into the waters

and were consumed by the hungry sea,

The sea that soon breathed life

into these fallen pieces of the galaxy;

So the stars made of cosmic matter,

And now filled with Earth’s water,

Transmogrified into new beings who couldn’t understand,

Whether home was sea or space, so they chose land!

As the newly birthed humans washed ashore,

Their collective consciousness became obscure;

For when the fallen bodies touched the diverse dry terrains,

Cosmic magic concealed itself within their human hearts and brains;

The true nature of their souls they had now forgotten,

So assuming that their new reality

Was limited to physical mortality,

They began procreating so humans like them could be begotten;

Conditioned vision,

Stunted senses,

Limited sight,

And a forgotten soul —

Armed with faulty weapons they began marching towards their common goal;

A goal unknown yet filled with hope they marched and played their fife,

They knew not their great purpose here, they knew nothing but life,

So they continued living on in the hope that death would end their strife;

Only to begin all over again as they were once again reborn,

Each birth was lived in darkness and each death began a new morn.

First, they fought for survival,

Then they fought disease,

Later they fought for revival,

And then they fought for peace;

All this while distracted, it’s been eons since they came,

Heart beating yet barely living,

Eyes open yet fully asleep,

Unable to decipher the truth, they began to mindlessly impart blame.

Breathe now darling humans, the time has come for change,

Your soul has been asleep too long and now it’s time to wake!

So journey on inside to your true Self and join the cosmic dance,

Because death is no escape my friend, and this life is your chance!
