An ode to Aria

To my sweet Aria. A child meant to sing louder than life’s strings.

By Hyde Wunderli Published about a year ago 1 min read

A smiles worth will triple when you need it most. Oh, and when you gleam it inspires me to duplicate your fire.

A gentle hands caress will soothe your heart that stutters. I will be right here when you wander, my hand outstretched-an act of stable trust.

A genuine praise will free the shackles of your fears-fears you’ll learn to conquer with my impetus in your ear.

A gift will show what words may not, a love that proves our connection. But the best gift of all is a presence we share, when snuggled upon the Odyssey chair.

If you must cry I will sit, and let your tears soak up my shirt. For it is my duty to share your stress and together we will prevail.

And if you need a laugh my love, I will dance a wiggly prance, just to hear your belly laugh and the joy that gives you life.

A song you are called, Aria the whimsy-A voice backed by triumphant sounds, supporting your beating drum.

So sing oh my sweet Aria and don’t ever lose your sound. For it is within you the will to live and never lose your love,

A love of giving, a love of being, and of course the love of feeling, whatever that may bring.
