A need for something
Freer and a million lights deeper
Bodies as soul and blood pricked, we asked for tradition
Drunk on the idea of balance
We left our shoes off running
Desperate for feathers,
We already knew flight
Amygdala hearts
And bright blown minds
In our final moment with fissures connected
I believed we could forgive our haste
And quite possibly expand on our own existence
Did you feel horizon too?
After what you said, it is hard to believe you.
