Among my things...
to the tune of:she came in through the bedroom window
the incense dust had fairy footprints
she longed for lavender lotion on her wings
perched herself upon a grounding stone
a lighter shade of emerald green
took her medicine by way of headphones
read my books but journaled her life
my nail file marked her place in my Spirit
she clicked off the lamp, for she had her own light
was she brighter than the candle
flame flickered off beads from mardi gras
casting shadows off the sea shells
and the jewelry box shaped like a star
hospital bracelets were tawdry trinkets
clues left upon the cyber path
along with the empty eyeglass case
so the Internet Router squinted to read his map
at night you can hear her wings a flutter
their scent entices your heart strings
what is to you a bed side table
is her world of enchanted things
