Am I losing my mind over you
or is this just the way it goes
when someone breaks in quietly
and nothing feels the same
I catch myself replaying your words
like they’re a secret I’m meant to keep
and every silence feels louder
than the noise before you came
I don’t know when the line was crossed
between wanting and needing
but now I’m standing here
holding pieces that won’t fit
You never meant to steal me
but maybe you did
without meaning to
I don’t want to be the one
waiting in shadows
for a sign
or a call
or anything at all
Am I losing my mind over you
or is this just
what happens
when you give too much
and get nothing back?
