If I don’t believe

Then, am I one of the damned?

Or has the world been deceived

About God’s son of man?

Often times I ask

Why must I still wait,

For my life’s last

To get in Heaven’s gate?

There is darkness;

Oh, how it takes its toll.

It comes from the starkness

Of the cost in human souls.

Give something real.

Something I can touch.

Don’t hand me a righteous spiel,

About how God loves me so much.

Where is the light?

I am surrounded by the dark.

If Is there a holy fight,

What is my sacred part?
