Always a Biter

A Poem

By D351Published 2 years ago 1 min read

Always a Biter

I learned as a child

That my tears were unearned

He taught me to be wild

To turn them into anger

I learned a little older

That the anger was misplaced

And so he learned to mourn

And made more tears from rage

Ostensibly grown up

And emotionally stunted

She's thoroughly had enough

And wants only to be hunted

Yet here fae is a broken husk

Abandoned by the hunter

And forsaken by my lust

I turn it all to hunger
