For Those Who Are Lonely

Alone tonight, like every other night

I can not hear your voice

If only I could see your face,

You could take me to a whole new place

I hear the nightfall and I can see

The same moon that you can and hopefully,

You are thinking of me too

With out you, I am so blue

You do not know how much,

But I need you

I could crumble, I could fall

You are not here, and you can not feel my pain,

Time goes by so slowly,

And it is driving me insane,

I am falling apart and

I do not think I will ever be whole again,

I am supposed to crash and burn with you,

But you are not here

I am supposed to lean on you,

And whisper in your ear

But I can not reach for you

It is just an empty space

And every time I try, I can not picture your face

You are too far away

sad poetry
