A Poem For My Son

I can remember,

When we used to play

I miss those days,

We would sit there for hours

I got to see your happy face

It took me to another place

I thought I would never see,

Let alone be,

I never thought I would

Know a love so true,

But I got that love

When I got you

You have my heart

Your heart knows my soul

If lives do repeat

Find me, until you do

I will retreat

I love being your mom

I could have never guessed,

That I would be such a good mom

And love my child so

Now I can not live with out you
