Alone in this world is what I am,

A silent echo, a fading lamb.

Alone with no one to hold my hand,

Just drifting shadows and empty sand.

Even though you are beside me still,

The air feels cold, the time stands still.

No voices rise, no laughter rings,

No comfort found in earthly things.

But then...

A breeze, soft as a sigh,

A golden streak across the sky.

A whisper warm, a gentle light,

Begins to chase away the night.

I feel your touch, your steady grace,

A smile blooms upon your face.

The world no longer feels so wide,

You're here, and I am warm inside.

So, though I wandered the world lost and blue,

The path grew brighter when walked with you.

No longer alone, no need to flee,

The sun came out, and you found me.
