Alone in My Struggle

I feel alone in my struggles,

With no one by my side,

The person I thought would support me,

Has left me to collide.

I reach out for help,

But it's met with resistance,

I feel like a burden,

In this life's persistence.

I thought they would be there,

Through thick and thin,

But instead I'm left to face,

All my battles within.

I try to be strong,

To push through the pain,

But the weight of it all,

Is too much to sustain.

I thought love meant support,

But now I see,

That sometimes it's just,

A false reality.

It hurts to be alone,

In this journey of life,

But I'll find the strength,

To survive without a wife.

I'll keep moving forward,

Though it may be hard,

For I know deep down,

I am my own guard.
