All That I Am

All that I am.

Let this fire inside me burn, bright as day to the darkest night.

Let this dark in me fall heavy on the minds of my enemies.

Like a blazing inferno I will love with a raging passion.

Like the darkest thundercloud, I will carry the power of God.

And yet...

let my waking breath and my daily walk be soft upon my people.

Let your loving kindness, and tender mercy be my companion.

Let this fire inside me burn, casting a comforting warmth, and a gentle glow.

Let this thundercloud bring with it, a soft and healing rain.
