All That Glitters Is not Gold
Be careful what you wish for

All That Glitters Is not Gold
All that glitters is not gold,
A sparkle doesn’t mean it’s whole.
Bright smiles can hide a broken heart,
And shining things may fall apart.
The loudest voice is not the wise,
A golden sun still leaves the skies.
What seems so perfect, bold, and grand,
May turn to dust within your hand.
So look beyond the shining light,
For truth is quiet, out of sight.
All that glitters may deceive,
Not every glow means you should believe.
A golden glow, a shining prize,
Can mask the truth before your eyes.
The brightest star, the sweetest call,
May lead you to a bitter fall.
A whispered wish, a quiet plea,
Might bloom into a twisted tree.
What you crave, what seems so bright,
Could vanish swiftly in the night.
Not all that sparkles holds its worth,
And dreams can break the strongest earth.
So tread with care, both bold and shy,
For even stars can burn the sky.

A golden poem! Great work
You are always fascinating readers. In this poem, you have shown the world the timeless truth that appearance can deceive. What a fantastic surprise! I honestly pray that this will fly over as the top story. Good luck.
