All On You

April 1, 2013

You thought,

You thought too hard

To make this plan

To make me hurt

You tried,

To pull one over

But now it’s done,

And the joke’s on you

You can’t fool me

With that grin

That haughty chortle

And the stench of lies

Now it’s done,

And the joke’s on you

I’m fine

And you’re the one scared

You’re the one who

Jumped out of your skin

Jumped to the moon

Not a second too soon

Just to know

It’s done now,

The joke’s on you

I’m satisfied

Karma is neither

Good or bad

It just serves its purpose

And keeps going on

So you got a heaping portion

Of what was coming

And now it’s done,

The joke’s on you

Don’t cry too long

It’s what you deserved

Find solace in that

And do good here out

It’s all on you

The jokes you pulled

Are funny to you alone

It’s done now, the joke’s on you
