This poem was inspired by real-life experiences and being caught in a web of lies, abuse and infidelity.
All I want to know is why...
Why did you use me as a rebound?
Do blue hearts represent sadness?
All I want to know is why...
Did you always have to put me down?
Am I only just a joke to you?
All I want to know is why...
How does it feel to be a cheater?
Why do you keep everyone a secret?
All I want to know is why...
Did you have my soul away?
Will I ever get it back?
All I want to know is why...
Did you have to tell lies to me?
And she told me what you did!
All I want to know is why...
Do you give neurodivergence a bad name?
It doesn't justify your actions.
All I want to know is why...
Did you thrive upon my heartbreak?
How can you really feel nothing?
All I want to know is why...
Are you nothing but a liar and a cheat?
Why can't you stop being abusive?
All I want to know is why...
Why can't you disappear?
You're a natural manipulator!
All I want to know is why...
Did call me a disease-ridden word
That frankly shouldn't be heard?
All I want to know is why?
Do you suck the happiness out of people
From this day on we are enemies.
