When I think about the love you showed me, I am speechless.
Why me?
Of all the people in the world?
I don't ever think of myself as the type to stand out in any showy way.
All I can say is—thank you,
for loving me, even though I am unlovable much of the time.
I didn't deserve your love.
You had to die.
If you had not, then I would be lost,
so would the rest of the world.
We'd all be full of hopelessness and sadness.
You brought truth to me when all I saw were lies around me.
You made a way when all I ran into were dead ends.
You brought me life.
That is why, for the rest of my life,
I choose to encourage and lift others up.
Again, all I can really say is—thank you,
and I hope my life testifies to this gratitude.

This is such a heartfelt and deeply moving expression of gratitude! If you could say “thank you” in the most dramatic way possible, what would it be? 🤔
