All Fur Coat and No Knickers
I loved keeping them all guessing

All Fur Coat and No Knickers
The carpet burned beneath my feet
the cameras flashed, the crowd leaned sweet
the fur was heavy, rich, and grand
I walked with mischief close at hand
They whispered fast, their glances sly
a question flickered in each eye
“All fur coat, no knickers there”
a joke that drifted through the air
I smiled, I posed, I let them think
I tipped my glass, I sipped my drink
what none could guess, what none could plot
was yes, the coat was far too hot
The slit of silk, the teasing stride
no knickers needed, none to hide
for heat and humour both combined
and left their whispers far behind
Their laughter tried to catch my pace
but I just wore a bolder face
a playful truth, a daring spin
they laughed outside, I laughed within
So let them grin, let gossip grow
I owned the night, they’ll never know
for fur and fire and fearless fun
had me the winner, every one.
And yes the fur coat was too hot to wear knickers 😜

Very cheeky, Marie, loved it. Too hot for knickers but not the fur coat - he he!
What a poem that shows the fun you had. Good job.
